Start the run always with gold oriented towers (saving the tower setups is handy to switch fast ingame), put the DPS tower (or 2 DPSers if you please so, one for backup for leakage later on, maybe), put all gold (but lvl 50 for the gold towers in the start to get you running) in upgrading the DPS tower.
